Welcome to my website...

Well, it's finally available on-line (for viewing.) The book won't be for sale for five more months, but all the links are in place for my Anthony Boucher biography. I'm putting the finishing touches on my two proposals for my next biography project as well. I've finished writing fellowship proposals for the books too. Fellowships for research are a good way to sell a new book, giving you some automatic credibility in your subject area.  It's been a busy winter.

Also The Scent of Murder is back. It was out of print after the publisher went under, but Delphi Books is graciously reprinting the book. I love the new cover, and I'm thrilled that one of my personal favorites is back in print.

Marketing tip of the month: Recently I started putting a list of review sites together for the biography. It's good to have a list of potential reviewers culled from other sources (like Intent to Sell) and personal contact. You can find out when reviews have been published by signing up for Google Alerts with you name. The alert will notify you whenever a new page is added with your name on it.

I'm trying out an Amazon widget on my site (see below.) I'm also trying out a Sales Ranking widget to see how they work. Any thoughts on them? Just email me and let me know....

As always you can find copies of my books via my online bookstore.

Anthony Boucher: A Biobibliography is the first book to look at the life and career of the 20th century's most influential mystery and suspense critic. Along with his mystery criticism, Boucher was known for starting The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, writing seven novels, and writing the radio plays for Sherlock Holmes and Ellery Queen.
